I am currently a second year Master’s student at the University of Oklahoma. I am working with uncrewed aerial system (UAS) observations within the National Weather Service (NWS). My research focuses on identifying and understanding the potential positive benefits that this data could have on NWS operational forecasting. Specifically, how can they impact hazard expectation and communication.
